September is College App Month! Many GCHS seniors have already applied, but we encourage all students to apply to at least one college this month. See below for a list of Tennessee colleges that waive their application fees this month, as well as a list of activities that GCHS will have to promote college throughout September.

🔬❤️ Our Honors Biology II students in Mr. Tate's class had a blast today with a unique "Cell Dating Game" to review cell organelles! Talk about a creative way to learn! They were matching wits and organelles, making connections that will surely stick. So much fun happening in our science classrooms!

Big news! Our very own GCHS lunch ladies just aced their recent health inspection with a perfect score of 100! 💯 This is a huge accomplishment and a testament to their dedication to providing a clean, safe, and positive environment for our students. Thank you for all you do! 🙏🧑‍🍳🎉

3,617 State Dual Credit Statistics Exams were taken in TN last year, and only 5% of students passed with a cut score of 70 or higher. And yet, GCHS was the TOP PERFORMING SCHOOL with a pass rate of 84%!!! Way to go, students & Mr. Sheppard (teacher of the class)!!!
