Students in Mrs. Byrd's class are learning about Natural Selection. The focus for the lesson was, "How do natural selection and inherited variations influence a population?" Students learned about genetic drift and how it is a mechanism of evolution that changes traits because of chance. Students then worked with a partner and rolled die to model the process of genetic drift.
